Tate Sissian

Tate is thrilled to be performing in his debut Free-Rain Theatre Company production as Francois in & Juliet. Since joining the Canberra theatre community in 2023, he has been involved in seven productions, each offering new challenges and valuable experiences.

His past roles have ranged from executing vigorous cheerleading routines in Bring It On: The Musical (Canberra Philharmonic Society, 2024), rising from the grave for a lil’ boogie in The Addams Family (Canberra Philharmonic Society, 2025) and navigating the mundanity of office life in 9 to 5 (Queanbeyan Players, 2025).

Tate is excited to bring his energy and enthusiasm to this vibrant reimagining of Shakespeare’s world and is deeply grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with such a talented cast and creative team. He hopes audiences have as much fun watching the show as he has had bringing it to life.
