Headshot for Robbie Haltiner

Robbie Haltiner

Robbie’s interest in acting was ignited after chancing on the Mockingbird Acting Studio in 2019. His first supporting role as the jalopy-loving teenager, Al Joad, in Canberra REP’s 2020 production of The Grapes of Wrath followed soon after.

Since then, Robbie has enjoyed roles as Gerald Mountgarret in REP’s 2021 production of The Governor’s Family (dir. Tony Llewellyn-Jones), Doc Porter in REP’s 2023 production of Crimes of the Heart (dir. Karen Vickery), and as Pete, Neil and John in Free-Rain’s 2023 production of Speaking In Tongues (dir. Cate Clelland) among others.

A big fan of Martin McDonagh’s darkly funny work, Robbie is now thrilled to play the role of restless gasur, Ray Dooley, in The Beauty Queen of Leenane.
