Lachy Agett

Following a 6-year hiatus from theatre, Lachy is incredibly excited to make their return to the stage and say “a-5, 6, 7, 8” as many times as they can!

Catching the theatre bug in high school, Lachy went on to perform in a plethora of musicals around Canberra including PeeWee’s Jesus Christ Superstar: The Arena Spectacular (2015), and We Will Rock You (2018), Phoenix Players’ Spring Awakening as Hänschen (2016), and Free-Rain Theatre’s Mary Poppins as Robertson Ay (2015), Disney’s The Little Mermaid (2016), 42nd Street as Andy Lee (2018), and Kinky Boots (2019).

For the last 6 years, Lachy has been performing around the country as their alter ego – Toni Kola. Expanding on the skills they honed in theatre, Toni has built a brand on theatricality, high camp concepts, and energy that only a theatre kid can bring to the stage. Toni has become a staple of Canberra’s nightlife scene, performing everywhere from drag clubs to cabarets, Fringe Festivals to sold out theatres, having worked with some of the biggest and best drag acts in the world.

When not in drag, or flying around the country with work, Lachy also teaches at Illustrious Dance and Burlesque – bringing their love of performance and range of skills to the next generation of artists and performers.
