Katie was most recently seen as Little Red Riding Hood in Into the Woods (ACTHub, 2026) and as Juliet’s Nurse, Angelique, in & Juliet (Free-Rain Theatre Company, 2026). Prior to this, she appeared as Daddy Brubeck in Sweet Charity (Free-Rain Theatre Company, 2025), earning an Ovation Award nomination, and as Bridget in Bring It On: The Musical (Canberra Philharmonic Society, 2024), for which she won an Ovation Award and received a CAT Award nomination.

After studying at the Australian Institute of Music, Katie returned to her hometown of Cairns, where she spent four years as a resident principal vocalist at the Paramour Cabaret Theatre, the region’s only permanent dinner and cabaret experience, and performed as a cover on Paramour Touring’s Queensland tour of DIVAS. During this time, she also developed and ran a youth musical theatre program for the Cairns Junior Choral Society, and was a veteran QRL cheerleader for the Northern Pride Rugby League football team.

Earlier theatre credits include roles in Monty Python’s SPAMALOT, The Producers, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, The Pirates of Penzance, Guys & Dolls, Oliver!, and Grease.
