
Jemima Paul
Jemima has been dancing for 13 years doing ballet, jazz and contemporary. She has completed
4 years of part time dance and 3 years full time in Canberra at Dance Development Centre,
completing a Certificate 4 in Dance.
In 2024 Jemima played one of the lead roles in The Training Ground’s pre-professional
contemporary dance work titled “Wired” and was nominated for a CAT Award for “Best Dance
Performance by an Individual or Ensemble”.
She was also involved in a professional performance with Tim Podesta’s PROJECTions Dance
Company, performing in his original contemporary dance work FORTE at The Edge Theatre,
Federation Square in Melbourne.
She started singing in 2020, continuing lessons since then with a focus on becoming a versatile
performer.
Jemima is currently teaching a range of styles at Dance Development Centre including ballet,
jazz and lyrical whilst completing a Bachelor of Primary Education specialising in Creative Arts
at the University of Canberra.
A Chorus Line is her first experience in a musical and she has thoroughly enjoyed the process
and being involved in bringing the show to life.
