Jared Newall

Jared boasts an impressive list of early credits in the music theatre world. Originally from Perth, his journey began with roles in productions such as “Oliver,” “My Fair Lady,” “Guys and Dolls,” “Sweet Charity,” and “Les Misérables.” In 2007, he made his professional debut in “Hair: The Musical,” followed by Jonathan Larson’s “Rent.”

In 2008, Jared pursued his passion at the University of Ballarat, studying Musical Theatre. During his time there, he portrayed characters such as Homer Collins in Adam Guettel’s “Floyd Collins,” Joseph ‘Jojo’ Morse in Cy Coleman’s “The Life,” Muzzy’s Boy/Ensemble in “Thoroughly Modern Millie,” and Bobby Strong in “Urinetown.”

After graduating in 2010, Jared secured a role in the Australasian Premiere of “It’s Only Life,” collaborating with composer John Bucchino. In 2011, he took on the role of David in the concert version of “Milk and Honey.”

Since 2011, Jared has been a globe-trotting performer with The Ten Tenors, touring more than 20 countries and delivering over 1,200 shows in remarkable venues worldwide. In 2019, he founded a singing school in Canberra, which continues to grow. In 2021 he played the lead role of Frankie Valli in Canberra Philo’s production of “Jersey Boys”. He is currently studying a Masters in Speech Pathology.
