Hayley Manning

Hayley Manning graduated from The Australian National University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Music / Bachelor of Science. Former Principal Double Bassist of the Canberra Youth Orchestra, she now performs regularly with the Canberra Symphony Orchestra.

Hayley has toured regional New South Wales with the Macquarie Symphony Orchestra and regularly plays for other chamber ensembles and choirs around Canberra.

Hayley has a strong interest in musical theatre and can often be found in the orchestra pit of many pro-am theatre productions in Canberra.

Hayley takes great joy in sharing her love for both music and the double bass with the people around her. Now employed full-time in the Australian Public Service, she never misses an opportunity to share her musical pursuits with her colleagues.
