David Gambrill

A locally based singer and musician, David has regularly gigged around Canberra and the region in various formats for more years than he cares to let on. 

A massive fan of musical theatre though, he achieved a lifelong dream in 2023 getting to perform in Queanbeyan Players’ Footloose. Now the dream continues with this opportunity to bring the character Big Davey to life in Billy Elliot. 

It’s such a thrill for me to be among this incredibly talented cast of kids and adults bringing this amazing story to Canberra audiences. I’m still pinching myself.
