Daniela Oddi

Daniela started dancing at the Lisa Clark School of Ballet (now Lisa Clark Dance Centre) when she was three years old. After taking home the bronze medal at the 2009 Genée International Ballet Competition in Singapore, she accepted a scholarship to train full time at the English National Ballet School in London.

In her second year of full-time training, Daniela represented the school at the Prix de Lausanne in Switzerland. Later that year, she toured with the English National Ballet for their productions of Sleeping Beauty and The Nutcracker, and also performed alongside the company in their excerpt of Swan Lake at the London 2012 Olympic Games.

After graduating, Daniela moved to Glasgow to join Scottish Ballet. As a member of the company, Daniela toured to Russia, China, and the USA, as well as around the UK, performing roles such as the Pas de Deux of the Golden Hours in Kenneth MacMillan’s Elite Syncopations, the Little Stepsister in Christopher Hampson’s Cinderella, Gretel in Christopher Hampson’s Hansel and Gretel, and the Giggly Fiancé in David Dawson’s Swan Lake.

Daniela made her musical theatre debut in 2023 as Victoria (the white cat) in Cats by Canberra Philharmonic Society.
