Charlotte Morphett

Originally from Sydney, Charlotte grew up immersed in the world of performance. She went on to major in Dance and Drama at the University of New South Wales; turning her passion into a fulfilling career. Charlotte is now the Leader of Learning – Performing Arts at St Clare’s College in Canberra, where she has directed, choreographed, and musically directed a number of school and youth productions across the region. In her role, she is passionate about supporting students as they develop their own creative skills and grow as confident, expressive performers.

Since moving to Canberra, Charlotte has been actively involved in the local theatre scene. Her credits include Choreographer for Bring It On (Canberra Philharmonic, 2024), Production Manager for Cats (Canberra Philharmonic, 2023), and principal roles such as Janice & others in Come From Awayv (Dramatic Productions, 2025), Sophie in Mamma Mia! (Free-Rain, 2021), Elle Woods in Legally Blonde (Canberra Philharmonic, 2019), Heather Chandler in Heathers (Dramatic Productions, 2018), Mary Magdalene in Jesus Christ Superstar (Canberra Philharmonic, 2018), and Vanessa in Strictly Ballroom (Canberra Philharmonic, 2017). She has also performed in the ensembles of Dogfight (Dramatic Productions, 2023) and Chicago (Canberra Philharmonic, 2017).

Charlotte values strong storytelling, creative teamwork, and the shared energy of bringing a performance to life with others on stage.
