Charlotte Hunt

Charlotte is a 16-year-old singer, dancer and actor. She has been performing on stage from an early age. She dances at Pointe2Pointe in Gungahlin where she trains in ballet, jazz, acro, tap, contemporary, commercial, hip hop and lyrical. 

She also trains with vocal coach Lauren Nihill and made her singing debut when she was just 8 years old. 

Charlotte is very passionate about musical theatre and also sings classical and contemporary styles. Last year she performed the role of Sophie in the St Clare’s College production of Mamma Mia! Her performance earned her a nomination in this year’s CAT Awards for Best Youth Actress in a Leading Role in a Musical. 

She has also performed in many theatre productions in Canberra. Her most recent one being Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat with Canberra Philharmonic Society earlier this year. 

Charlotte is an award-winning singer and has won many vocal competitions including the Musical Theatre section at the prestigious Sydney Eisteddfod. She is also a National Champion in Song and Dance, having won many Song and Dance titles and championships. 

This is her first production with Free-Rain Theatre Company and she is so excited to bring the character of Judy to life onstage. She is extremely grateful for the opportunity to be in this incredible show with such a talented cast!
