Caitlin Bissett

Caitie (she/her) is thrilled to return to the stage with Free-Rain Theatre Company in & Juliet. A recent graduate of Canberra College, she currently works across the ACT and NSW in music and dance early education programs.

In 2025, Caitie made her directorial debut with Joanna Richards’ play You Can’t Tell Anyone, which received two CAT Award nominations, including the Patricia Kelson Award for first-time directing.

Her recent stage credits include Nurse in Equus (Free-Rain Theatre Company, 2025), Featured Dancer/Lynne Woolnough u/s in The Boy From Oz (Free-Rain Theatre Company, 2025), Jet Girl in West Side Story (Dramatic Productions, 2023), Soren in Happy Meals, Happy Kids (Sunny Productions, 2024, as well as Antigone in Antigone (Canberra College, XXXX) and Miranda in Picnic at Hanging Rock (Canberra College).

She is grateful to have been part of this production and to contribute many ‘oohs’ and ‘aahs’.
