Rachel Thornton

Rachel has had the pleasure of being part of the Canberra Theatre community since 2012, and has performed in over 20 productions.

Her performance credits include The Addams Family (Queanbeyan City Council), Heathers (Dramatic Productions), The Last 5 Years (Independent Production), Dogfight (Dramatic Productions, 2023) and most recently Sweet Charity (Free-Rain Theatre Company, 2025).

Alongside her on-stage work, Rachel regularly contributes behind the scenes as a director, choreographer, stage manager, costume designer, and production manager. 

In 2024, Rachel was honoured with the Standing Ovation Award at The Ovations (Canberra/Queanbeyan Performing Arts Awards).
